REGISTRATION AND CHECK-IN
RA Delegates may begin registering for the NEA RA starting on June 3rd. The email they receive will include information that allows the member to register for delegate credentials. The registration process will allow the delegates to register for the pre-RA Town Hall and Open Hearings. Delegates will have the opportunity to add guests as part of their registration. If an elected delegate does not receive the email, they should go to www.nea.org/ra and click the RA Support tab to send an email to NEA requesting registration information.
NEA RA REGISTRATION CHANGES FOR 2026
Please note that delegate and association staff guest access to the 2026 Representative Assembly will be limited to immediate family members only. Immediate family members are defined as:
- Spouse or domestic partner
- Parents/step-parents
- Siblings
- Children/step-children
Delegates and association staff may add guests as part of their registration until June 28. Guest registration will not be available after this date.
As part of the registration process delegates must certify the following:
“I certify that I have been notified that I must register my guests no later than June 28, 2026.”
“I certify that my guest is a member of my immediate family.”
Guests must be present with their sponsoring delegate or association staff member to receive a badge. The photo for their badge will be taken then. Delegates and staff are requested to avoid peak times on July 3 to request guest badges. Badges for guests registered before June 28 can be picked up until 12 p.m. local time on July 7. Guests will enter through a separate entrance that leads to a designated guest seating area.
NEA Members – Non-Delegates
Subject to seating availability, NEA members who are not elected delegates to the NEA RA may register onsite on July 3 and 4 only to observe the RA. Registration for NEA members will close at 5:00pm local time on July 4. Member observers will enter through the guest entrance that leads to a designated guest seating area. Appeals or requested exceptions to this policy should be sent to jtesterman@nea.org.
Registration and Check-In open at the Colorado Convention Center on July 3rd. All delegates who have registered online may proceed directly to the Delegate Check-in area. Delegates must present a valid photo identification before their badge is issued. Delegates who have not registered online must go to the Registration desk for assistance.
A reminder that ALL attendees must show a photo ID before badges are issued.
