The Colorado Convention Center is a multi-purpose convention center located in Downtown Denver, Colorado. It is the site of the 164th NEA Annual Meeting and the 105th NEA Representative Assembly.

DESIGNATED ENTRIES
To enter the Denver Convention Center from the street level, use either entrance on the front of the building on 14th Street to either the right (Stout Street) or the left (Welton Street) of the Big Blue Bear. Non-entry doors can be used for exiting only.
Clear bags will be distributed to delegates at registration. We HIGHLY recommend these are used for ease with getting through the magnetometers.

Help for the Local Community

This year, NEA has chosen the Denver Inner City Parish. The DICP serves marginalized Denver residents facing high rents, food deserts, and social isolation. Their programs are participant-driven and highly responsive to community feedback. The community’s needs have changed over the decades, but DICP continues to help residents face whatever challenges life has in store for them.
Non-Perishable items can be dropped off at the Donation Box located in the main lobby near the Blue Bear.


Here’s a list of the most needed items that can be donated at the RA:

  • Canned proteins (fish, chicken, beans)
  • Quick meals (Hamburger Helper, Knorr Pasta, Pasta Roni)
  • Single-serve snacks
  • Baby formula
  • Hygiene products (Menstrual products, soap bars,
    travel-size deodorant, etc.)

Food Service at the Convention Center

Please note that all vendors and vending machines within the Denver Convention Center are cashless and accept only credit cards, debit cards, and contactless payment methods. Accepted contactless options include major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other mobile payment services.
Most concession locations offer a variety of healthy food choices, including gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. These items will be clearly identified on concession menu boards.
Attendees with specific dietary, medical, or religious dietary requirements are encouraged to contact their State Coordinator for information on additional dining options available near the convention center.

    Serves specialty hot dogs and bratwursts with a choice of toppings, along with chips and beverages, including soft drinks, water, energy drinks, and sports drinks.

    A Mediterranean menu featuring lamb and chicken gyros, gyro bowls, chips, and drinks including sodas, lemonade, and water.

Please refrain from bringing large quantities of outside food and drink (group catering) into the Colorado Convention Center. This may be subject to search and
confiscation by building security and is considered a violation of Colorado Convention Center policy.
